HUXWRX 5.56 Non-Lethal Training Aid (NLTA)

Details

The HUXWRX 5.56 NLTA is a non-lethal training aid designed to closely match the size, balance, and feel of a live HUXWRX suppressor. It allows shooters to maintain proper balance, sight picture, and muscle memory during force-on-force and scenario-based training without live fire.

The NLTA replicates the weight distribution and external profile of a HUXWRX suppressor, providing realistic handling characteristics during training drills. This is not a functional suppressor — it does not reduce sound or flash. It is a training device only.

The 5.56 NLTA is built for compatibility with a wide variety of training platforms, including Simunition and Unit Solutions training systems. Rugged construction ensures it withstands the demands of repeated high-volume training cycles while maintaining the authentic feel needed for professional training environments.

The NLTA is designed for professional end-users including law enforcement, military, and other organizations that require realistic suppressor-equipped training without the use of live ammunition or NFA-regulated items.

Because the NLTA is a training aid and not a functional suppressor, it is not an NFA item and does not require a Form 4 transfer or tax stamp.

Integrating a training aid that matches the weight and balance of duty equipment helps shooters build and maintain skills that transfer directly to live-fire suppressed platforms without consuming live ammunition or requiring a live-fire range.

HUXWRX manufactures suppressors and training aids in the United States. Contact HUXWRX for warranty details.
